The primary duty is to support the development and execution of sourcing category strategies to maximize value and partner with business stakeholders. This role executes the end-to-end sourcing process, including category strategies, spend analysis, RFx processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Daily responsibilities involve leading negotiations for large-scale volume purchase agreements, running RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, and evaluating supplier financial stability. Perform business analysis focused on total cost of ownership and continuously seek cost savings opportunities. Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and sourcing tools while providing insights from market conditions and trends.

Requirements
- Sourcing and vendor management experience operating at all organizational levels
- Ability to execute end-to-end sourcing processes including RFx, negotiation, and supplier management
- Knowledge of market conditions and trends to provide strategic insights
- Experience in spend and market analysis for category strategies
- Project management skills for sourcing initiatives from planning to implementation
- Proficiency in contract management systems and sourcing tools
- Cross-functional collaboration to develop supplier requirements
- Strategic focus on total cost of ownership and cost savings opportunities
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements
- Demonstrate project management expertise to carry projects from strategic planning through implementation
- Partner with Category Development subject matter experts across multiple product categories
- Proactively strategize with business stakeholders to understand organizational needs and deliver solutions
- Lead and participate on cross-functional teams to develop supplier requirements
- Research and develop sources of supply; manage RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes
- Evaluate financial stability of potential suppliers
- Perform business analysis with strategic focus on total cost of ownership and seek cost savings
