About this role
Vertiv is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with experience in product lifecycle management, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, project management, and supplier management. They will develop and maintain manufacturing documentation while supporting plant-to-plant transfers and tracking project progress.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the Global Supply Chain across India, China, Mexico, and Europe. Assist in EOL/NPD gate stages, engineering BOMs, drawings, and Oracle systems. Handle supplier development, auditing, imports, shipment terms, customs clearance, and material ordering.
Provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development using various tools. Track project progress and generate reports with BI/Discoverer. Advance material planning key processes while adhering to established manufacturing procedures.

Requirements
- 8-10 years experience
- B.S. in Supply Chain/Supply Chain Management or related
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of EOL/NPD gate stages, engineering BOMs, drawings, and Oracle systems
- Understand engineering drawings and Bill of Materials
- Knowledge of project tracking tools, mapping, and execution
- PC working knowledge (MS Office, PowerBI, Snowflake)
- Material Requirements Planning proficiency (ERP/MRP software)
Responsibilities
- Manage Global Supply Chain, including India, China, Mexico and Europe
- Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs
- Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs
- Develop new suppliers and conduct auditing
- Track and report project status using BI/Discoverer
- Handle supplier management, material ordering, and tracking
- Manage imports, shipment terms, and customs clearance
- Advance material planning key processes
