In the role of Customer Service & Logistics Manager, you will join the Commercial organization as the primary point of contact for customers on order- and logistics-related matters. You will ensure close coordination between customers, production, and warehouse operations. The position focuses on customer service, order management in planning systems, and leading the warehouse team of 2 employees.
You will be present regularly at both Køge and Hårlev sites, requiring a structured, service-oriented mindset and strong cross-functional communication skills. Daily work involves maintaining accurate forecasting and predicted sales data in Business Central. You will also drive consolidation of planning workflows from Visma, Business Central, and Excel into a single system.
Proactively identify risks in the supply chain related to capacity, lead times, or logistics, and escalate issues timely to the Commercial Director. Contribute to continuous improvement of customer service, logistics processes, and collaboration. This role offers opportunities to lead ERP transitions and enhance operational efficiency in life sciences.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service, order management, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably in a Life Science, pharmaceutical, or regulated industrial environment
- Comfortable taking responsibility for a small operational team (two warehouse staff report into this role) as part of a broader coordination role
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system; experience with Visma is a plus
- Experience driving an ERP transition or system consolidation, ideally as a change lead, and comfortable working with forecasting and sales planning data
- Work in a structured, detail-oriented, and quality-driven manner
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and cross-functional teams in a regulated environment
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full order-to-delivery process, including handling incoming customer orders, keying orders into Business Central, and issuing order confirmations
- Maintain accurate forecasting and predicted sales data in Business Central, including planning of orders that are not yet confirmed POs
- Lead consolidation of planning workflows from Visma, Business Central, and Excel-based tools into a single Business Central environment and drive team adoption
- Act as primary customer contact for order follow-up, delivery status, logistics questions, and new customer onboarding
- Lead and supervise the warehouse team, ensuring accurate shipping, inventory handling, and compliance with internal procedures
- Coordinate closely with production planning and warehouse operations to align supply, production schedules, and delivery dates with customer demand
- Ensure visibility and control of the supply chain, proactively identifying risks related to capacity, lead times, or logistics
- Escalate delivery delays, production issues, or customer-related risks to the Commercial Director in a timely and structured manner
