This position defines and executes the non-merchandise sourcing and procurement strategy for Technology & eCommerce. The role implements category management supported by optimal sourcing strategies.

Day-to-day involves actively managing key supplier relationships and engaging in sourcing projects while overseeing execution from a team of analysts. Responsibilities include leading RFI, RFP, eAuction, benchmarking, and direct negotiation in collaboration with stakeholders. The focus is on mitigating business risk and driving process standardization.

Work closely with executive level and functional management as a trusted advisor, presenting to and interacting with executive management. Collaborate with the back office non-merchandise procurement team and internal stakeholders to identify requirements. Enhance supplier relationships through metrics and scorecards for compliance and quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years of experience in Non-merchandise/Indirect sourcing expertise with a focus on Technology & eCommerce categories
  • MBA (Preferred), CPM/CPSM (Preferred) in Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related Business Field
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, Procurement Platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Zycus or equivalents, and Spend Visibility / Data Visualization tools
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and comfort around executive management
  • Expertise in spend data analytics
  • Strong sourcing and procurement knowledge with pragmatism to manage expectations
  • Strong negotiation and project management skills

Responsibilities

  • Implement the category management strategy supported by optimal sourcing and procurement strategies
  • Actively manage and enhance key supplier relationships
  • Actively engage in sourcing projects and oversee project execution from a team of analysts
  • Mitigate overall business risk
  • Drive process standardization and financial transparency
  • Develop, implement and communicate the procurement category management strategy including analysis of current spend, supply base, markets and cost drivers
  • Lead development and implementation of optimal sourcing strategies including RFI, RFP, eAuction, benchmarking and direct negotiation
  • Execute supplier relationship management activities including key metrics and scorecards to measure compliance and improve quality
