As a Warehouse Assistant in the Goods In Department, you play a crucial role in efficient stock management, secure operations, and cross-departmental collaboration with Dispatch, Returns, and Production. This fast-paced role demands strong attention to detail.

You will assist in unloading deliveries and containers, verifying carton counts against packing lists. Accurately process inbound stock into the PVX system, matching quantities, SKUs, and barcodes. Identify short-shipments, overages, or damages and escalate to the Team Lead.

Execute movement of processed stock to designated pick locations and collaborate to maintain a clean, organised environment. Work Monday to Friday 7am-4:30pm, Saturdays 7-11:30am, with flexibility for peak shifts. The role is based at the MESHKI Distribution Centre in Turrella.

Requirements

Prior experience in a warehouse; logistics or retail environment preferred
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet daily KPIs
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand or sit for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organisational skills
Basic computer skills
Team player with good communication skills
Availability Monday to Friday (Fridays a must), 7am-4.30pm & Saturday 7-11:30am
Valid Forklift License (LF) is highly preferred, though not mandatory

Responsibilities

Assist in unloading deliveries and containers, verifying physical carton counts against packing list documentation
Accurately process inbound stock into the PVX system, ensuring quantities, SKUs and barcodes match shipment data
Identify and document any short-shipments, overages or damages at the point of entry and escalate to the Team Lead
Execute the movement of processed stock into designated pick locations
Collaborate with other warehouse team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment
Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packing, shipping, cycle counting, consolidation and receiving
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
