About this role
Dometic is a global market leader in the mobile living industry, providing high-end products for recreational vehicles and more across North America. The Transportation & Logistics Analyst II reports to the Senior Director of Logistics & Operations and works on-site in Elkhart, IN. This role coordinates domestic and international shipments across ground, air, and ocean while ensuring trade compliance.
You will own end-to-end shipment coordination, generate export documentation like commercial invoices and bills of lading, and ensure compliance with HTS classification and tariff regulations. Act as the primary point of contact for transportation issues, resolving freight and routing challenges. Develop freight quotes across LTL, TL, air, and ocean modes while coordinating with carriers and internal teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, process documentation, and training efforts within a dynamic operations team. Leverage Excel and Power BI for data analysis to identify cost and service opportunities. Collaborate across operations, customer service, supply chain, and external partners.

Requirements
- Knowledge of trade regulations including HTS classification, tariffs, and country of origin requirements
- Experience with export documentation such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and airway bills
- Familiarity with DOT, IATA, and hazardous material shipping regulations
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI for transportation data analysis and reporting
- Understanding of transportation modes including LTL, TL, air, and ocean freight
- Ability to manage and optimize transportation systems like ShipExec
- Skills in process documentation, SOP development, and team training
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end coordination of domestic and international shipments, ensuring on-time and compliant execution

- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for timely pickup, delivery, and issue resolutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve service levels, and increase efficiency
- Utilize Excel and Power BI to analyze data, provide reporting, and support decision-making
