The Warehouse Worker completes shipments by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area. Drive truck or van to and from vendors, complete preventive maintenance, and arrange repairs. Collect stock location orders and printing requests while assisting in receiving dock operations.

Ensure wheels of trucks are chocked, pick cases from bulk locations, and stock forward pick areas neatly. Handle returns, broken cases, and maintain equipment cleanliness for the next shift.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and battery change station
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds
  • Capable of considerable time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
  • Ability to regularly sit and operate machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Comfortable with repetitive motions and working at varying heights

Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving dock operations by loading or unloading shipments
  • Operate forklift, pallet jacks, or order-picker using full range of peripheral vision safely
  • Place and pull stock from storage areas of the warehouse
  • Pick cases from bulk locations to fill forward pick locations
  • Stock forward pick locations in the bottle room and full case line neatly
  • Handle broken cases including re-boxing good bottles and sending broken ones to dump
  • Ensure cleanliness of assigned warehouse area and leave equipment in good order
  • Perform all duties safely, wear company issued safety equipment, and report damage immediately
