About this role

The Warehouse Picker Packer is responsible for performing duties on and off the shipping line related to the stocking, picking, packing, confirmation, labeling, fulfillment, and processing of orders. This role involves learning basic duties on the shipping floor, including Direct to Consumer/Courier, Picking, Packing, as well as VAS packaging and labeling. Stay active while handling orders efficiently.

Pick and confirm orders efficiently and accurately each day. Pack orders correctly to prevent damage and ticket or label them as specified. Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the shift and report any conditions needing attention.

Requirements

Communicate effectively both written and verbally
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly, with ability to twist, bend, reach, squat, climb stairs and stand for several hours
Comfortable with basic math including adding, subtracting, multiplication and division
Experience with Radio Frequency Scanning (RF), trash/cardboard compactors desired but not required; must be willing to learn
Prior experience with electrical and manual pallet jacks and forklifts preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Learn and perform basic duties on shipping floor, including Direct to Consumer/Courier, Picking, Packing, VAS packaging and labeling
Pick and confirm orders efficiently and accurately
Pack orders efficiently and correctly to prevent damage
Ticket or label orders as specified
Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout shift and at end of shift
Report any conditions that need attention to appropriate manager
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding safety, food safety, quality, sanitation, personnel, maintenance, and equipment
Assist with other distribution activities as needed
