About this role

The Supply Chain Manager oversees analysis of forecast projections and delivery improvements for products and services to customers. Leads supply planners to ensure inventory levels prevent back orders while protecting against excess inventory and scrap risk. Responsible for maintenance and review of safety stock, finished goods inventory, and OTIF service levels.

Fosters relationships with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and distributors to streamline processes and improve supply chain accuracy and efficacy. Determines best execution and leverage of tools for supply chain flow, driving capacity management, inventory, and planning. Supports key business partners to align supply chain with growth objectives.

Identifies solutions and resolves issues between demand planning, manufacturing, and supply chain/logistics. Manages Supply Chain Planning team through coaching, development, and annual performance reviews. Executes annual department budget including staffing, capital, and operating expenses.

Prepares and presents metrics, reports, and analysis of department data. Utilizes planning toolsets like SAP, MRP, ERP II, inventory, production scheduling, and capacity planning. Collaborates with corporate to develop, revise, execute SOPs and training manuals in a hybrid role with periodic travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain management, Business, Operations or related field, or 6+ years of related experience
  • Five years of combined experience in operations, manufacturing, and/or supply chain
  • Strengths in SAP knowledge, MRP systems, inventory management, capacity planning, and SL
  • Experience with planning toolsets including SAP, MRP, ERP II, inventory, production scheduling, and perpetual inventory management
  • APICS certification or start of certification training preferred after first year in position
