A position is available for a Driver/Warehouse Operative to join the busy team. This dual role requires performing in either capacity when required in the branch. Ideally, candidates have previous experience in warehouse or commercial vehicle parts environments.

Operate in a dynamic branch handling parts distribution. Contribute to picking orders, loading vans, deliveries, and stock checks. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment alongside rolling stock taking programs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a similar background of warehouse or commercial vehicle parts
  • Flexible
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good timekeeping
  • Ability to perform dual roles as driver or warehouse operative as required

Responsibilities

  • Pack and load products onto vans according to company specifications
  • Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
  • Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher
  • Unload goods as per client specifications
  • Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
  • Obtain delivery confirmations from each customer
  • Pick customer orders, load vans, and make regular checks to ensure all orders are picked correctly
  • Check and put away supplier deliveries, informing line manager of any shortages or damaged stock
