About this role

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking warehouse associate to join our growing team. In this role, you will perform various warehouse functions as well as delivering, receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. This position combines hands-on warehouse tasks with delivery responsibilities.

Prepare truck for operation by overseeing loading, securing items, and verifying shipping papers. Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, and fluids to ensure safe performance. Deliver orders via the most effective route to meet established time frames and customer needs.

Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, pull orders for shipment on pallets or boxes, and ensure shipments are labeled correctly. Check-in inventory, match purchase orders to vendor packing slips, and receive orders into the P21 system. Maintain inventory of assembled hoses and keep the warehouse clean at all times.

Assist Inside Sales Representatives with order entry and sales quotes as needed. Maintain communication with the company during deliveries and document order accuracy and discrepancies. Report to the Operations/Inside Sales Manager and perform other duties as assigned while wearing proper PPE.

Requirements

Maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Maintain chauffeur's license
Maintain TWIC Card and other certifications as needed
Able to read a map, operate GPS system, and plan routes accurately
Operate forklift properly
Able to lift 55lb of material or equipment, up to over 100 pounds occasionally
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Write routine reports and correspondence
