As a Route Sales Driver on the Sales Team, you will handle sale and distribution of products on designated routes to provide superior customer service and maximize sales and volume growth. This includes developing and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring product availability at accounts. You will fill beverage sections, racks, displays, and vendors according to company standards.

You will foster professional team relationships with co-workers and customers through daily communication, problem resolution, and follow-up. Maintain a safe working environment, neat appearance of equipment and product, and clean organized back rooms. Monitor competitor activities and conform to all regulations, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate a two or four-wheeled hand-truck
  • Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks
  • Ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of starting in position
  • Ability to operate a Class A CDL tractor and trailer and remain in compliance with all CDL requirements
  • Motor vehicle driving history that meets CCBCHC guidelines
  • Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical requirements
  • Adaptability to change in the workplace
  • Business acumen to grasp and understand business concepts and issues

Responsibilities

  • Grow volume in assigned accounts through product sales, distribution, display, and promotional activity
  • Sell and deliver products to assigned accounts on a daily basis
  • Merchandise and stock all accounts according to CCBCHC standards
  • Transport, replace, and maintain Point of Sale advertising as appropriate for accounts
  • Ensure proper accounting of product, cash, and assets daily
  • Accurately and efficiently invoice and collect monies due
  • Foster relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service through daily communication and problem resolution
  • Perform required vehicle checks and load checks according to standard practices
