Delta Solutions and Strategies seeks a highly skilled Logistics Analyst to support United States Space Forces Space (S4S) at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The role involves analysis and resolution of logistics and engineering issues, providing professional advice to commanders and staff. It integrates logistics and engineering requirements into the S4S planning cycle.

Daily tasks include providing readiness assessment support for joint mission essential tasks and assisting in developing JMETLs per CJCS UJTL. Logistics analysis supports OPLAN and TPFDD development, while synchronizing joint supply activities per JP 4.0 tracks the S4S supply chain using ITV visibility.

Join a high-performance team facilitating JOPES execution, overseeing subordinate components and JTF POCs for deployment of OPCON’d and TACON’d forces. As a Logistics SME, coordinate meetings, agendas, and read-ahead materials on behalf of S4.

Provide limited admin support using TMT on NIPRNet and SIPRNet, developing capabilities through JOPES, and participating in CAP for space operations integration. Maintain support agreements and review component command logistics standards.

Requirements

Logistics directorate experience at the Component, Combatant Command or Joint Staff levels (G4, S4, or J4)
Knowledge of Global Command and Control System (GCCS) automated tools such as JOPES and DCAPES
Knowledge of Global Force Management and Operations Planning
Ability to analyze situations and make well informed recommendations
Excellent communicator and effective team member with ability to present briefings
Expertise with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Strong organizational and planning skills
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Responsibilities

Provide readiness assessment support for joint mission essential tasks in support of defense readiness reporting
Assist in developing and maintaining JMETLs IAW the CJCS UJTL and review/validate readiness reporting information
Provide logistics analysis and SME support to OPLAN and TPFDD development
Assist in developing support to space operations and integration, creating CAP, and maintaining support agreements
Synchronize joint supply activities IAW JP 4.0, track S4S supply chain, and provide ITV visibility of materials
Assist S4 in standing up and running JOPES, providing oversight to subordinate components and JTF POCs
Schedule and coordinate meetings, agendas, and read-ahead materials as Logistics SME
Provide limited admin support including preparing documents and managing taskings using TMT on NIPRNet and SIPRNet
