Kal Tire Transport is hiring a skilled Class 1 Driver based in Acheson, AB, to deliver tires and automotive accessories across Alberta including Edmonton area. Perform pre/post trip inspections, hook up and pull up to a 2-trailer combo. Maintain an Electric Logging Device in compliance with hours of service and report equipment damages. Consistently bend, lift, and move tires during deliveries.

Maintain positive working relationships by interacting with team members at Kal Tire locations while loading, unloading, and delivering. Deliver across British Columbia including Vancouver Island with some overnight shifts depending on route. Prioritize safety and contribute to a safe, environmentally responsible workplace.

Requirements

Hold a clean and valid Class 1 license
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Class 1 driver with ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English verbally and in writing
Shift rotations including some Sunday starts with rotating weeks on/off
Commitment to safety and maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
Physical capability to lift and maneuver tires
Previous experience driving long distance
Basic mechanical knowledge
Prior chain-up experience

Responsibilities
