As Fleet Manager, oversee the planning, dispatching, and execution of liquid chemical bulk shipments across three manufacturing sites. Leverage Samsara telematics and BluJay TMS to optimize routing, ensure visibility, and control costs.
A typical day involves building daily dispatch plans, scheduling drivers based on priorities, HOS, and equipment needs. Monitor operations with Samsara for GPS, safety alerts, and compliance. Manage loads in BluJay TMS, coordinate tank washes, and handle exceptions like delays or breakdowns.
Supervise company drivers through coaching, safety briefings, ride-alongs, and training on chemical handling. Ensure HOS/ELD compliance, manage qualification files, and lead investigations for spills or accidents. Oversee fleet readiness including tractors, tank trailers, pumps, and maintenance programs.

Requirements
- Proficiency leveraging Samsara telematics for routing optimization and visibility
- Experience with BluJay TMS for load management and operational control
- Knowledge of HOS/ELD compliance and driver qualification files
- Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, EPA, OSHA, and hazardous chemical regulations
- Skills in managing company drivers including scheduling, coaching, and safety training
- Ability to coordinate tank wash planning, certifications, and product compatibility
- Expertise in fleet maintenance programs and tracking out-of-service assets
- Capability to lead investigations for spills, releases, and preventable accidents

- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on priorities, time windows, HOS, and equipment compatibility
- Monitor operations using Samsara telematics for GPS visibility, HOS, and safety alerts
- Manage loads in BluJay TMS including load creation, tendering, documentation, and closeout
- Supervise and coach company drivers ensuring alignment with site logistics needs
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, EPA, OSHA, and hazardous chemical regulations
- Oversee fleet readiness of tractors, tank trailers, pumps, compressors, and chemical equipment
