The National Account Manager manages strategic accounts and maximizes sales and growth opportunities.

This role facilitates communication with customers and builds long-term relationships to achieve business goals alongside Sales and Operations. Serve as the primary point of contact for large company accounts, ensuring needs are met through trust and reliability. Coordinate with internal teams for seamless client journeys and high satisfaction.

Work in a friendly, collaborative environment focused on customized services. Act as client advocate, addressing concerns promptly and overseeing transitions from Business Development to Operations. Stay current with industry news, regulatory changes, and customer business activities.

Develop shared growth plans for upselling and cross-selling aligned with client objectives. Improve department processes with a focus on CRM Automation and participate in RFQ, RFI, and RFP projects. Join a growing organization with opportunities for professional development and ongoing learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in Business or International Business or similar discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the Customs Brokerage industry
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing large and national accounts
  • Bilingual (fluent in both Spanish/English) necessary
  • Highly proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Valid Passport and ability to travel occasionally to CAD/USA/MEX offices
  • Legally eligible to work for the Company at all times
  • (CCS) Customs Certified Specialist or (LCB) Licensed Customs Broker an asset

Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted partner managing large company accounts as primary point of contact, building strong relationships
  • Coordinate with internal teams to manage client journey, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
  • Act as client advocate, promptly addressing concerns and facilitating problem resolution
  • Develop shared growth plan to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Assess and report on client satisfaction, refining client experience and ensuring contract terms
  • Deliver client servicing through visits and meetings with customers
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of customers’ business, brokerage rates, and analyze sales data and trends
  • Oversee TAP monitoring, account assignment, and transition of corporate accounts to Operations
