The Supply Chain Manager reports to the Head of Supply for day-to-day team and operations management.

This role ensures reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of medicines and healthcare products to support prescription dispensing and retail fulfilment. Lead the operational supply team responsible for stock ordering, stock management, and supplier coordination. Maintain optimal inventory levels and product availability while working closely with dispensing, warehouse, and commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Experience managing supply chain operations in pharmacy or healthcare
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply regulations and compliance
  • Expertise in inventory management and stock control
  • Skills in supplier coordination and relationship management
  • Ability to lead operational teams in logistics environments
  • Familiarity with demand forecasting and stock optimisation

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day supply chain team and operations
  • Ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of medicines and healthcare products
  • Lead operational supply team for stock ordering, stock management, and supplier coordination
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and product availability
  • Work closely with dispensing, warehouse, and commercial teams to support uninterrupted patient service
  • Participate in out-of-hours rota as required by the business
