About this role

This remote position supports PMA-265 at NAVAIR Headquarters in Patuxent River, MD. It provides logistics and analytical support to the U.S. Navy F/A-18 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The role focuses on integration and sustainment planning across aircraft systems, subsystems, and support equipment.

Daily work involves analyzing FMS pre-case requirements and recommending lifecycle planning approaches to meet program objectives. Support development of Life Cycle Cost plans, maintenance planning, and Level of Repair analyses. Track transportation of critical parts, equipment, and software for FMS efforts.

Collaborate with program leadership, Navy managers, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Participate in meetings, briefings, program reviews, and logistics conferences, including occasional OCONUS travel. Work with APMLs, Deputies, and Logistics Element Managers across all Integrated Logistics Support elements.

Join ITC Defense to contribute to mission readiness for international partners on the F/A-18 platform. Engage with stakeholders to integrate new capabilities. Maintain logistics and maintenance data in automated systems while supporting ECP and TD Program Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least six (6) years of experience in logistics, maintenance engineering, or related field (acceptable substitution: an additional five (5) years of relevant experience may replace a degree)
  • Active Secret Clearance required
  • Three (3) or more years of recent experience in acquisition logistics or maintenance engineering
  • Experience analyzing ILS requirements and supporting operational logistics planning
  • Ability to perform logistics studies, analyses, and evaluations supporting DoD systems
  • Experience supporting NAVAIR programs (preferred)
  • Background as an Aviation Electronics Technician (AT) or similar role (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Logistics Manager, APMLs/Deputies, and Logistics Element Managers across all Integrated Logistics Support elements
  • Analyze FMS pre-case requirements and help shape logistics planning strategies
  • Recommend lifecycle planning approaches to meet program and customer objectives
  • Support development of Life Cycle Cost plans, Total Ownership Cost plans, maintenance planning, and Level of Repair analyses
  • Collaborate with Navy program managers, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate new capabilities into the F/A-18 platform
  • Participate in meetings, briefings, and program reviews with CONUS and occasional OCONUS travel
  • Plan, coordinate, and support logistics conferences and key program events
  • Track and coordinate transportation of critical parts, equipment, and software supporting FMS efforts
